Oscar Goldszmidt Don

 Oscar Goldszmidt Don is a Puppeteer since 2004. His training in Puppetry began with courses in Puppetry and Mime at the School of Communication and Arts (ECA) of the University of São Paulo (USP). Also participated in a  workshop (1 year) with  TRUKS Puppet Company, among others. Has been leading the Gepeto Puppet Theater group since 2004. Was Theater Coordinator at the Paulo Betti Cultural Workshop of Araçoiaba da Serra – SP - Brazil from 2006 to 2009. In 2014 he started storytelling and puppet activities with focus on children with special needs at Maria Claro Special Nursery in Sorocaba - São Paulo. Currently teaches ethics through puppets for art educators, librarians, pedagogy students and primary school teachers. Directed two teenage drama groups at a state school where they debated ethical dilemmas and set up two puppet plays about bullying. Participated in Unima´s Conference in Connecticut and in a Seminar in Storrs. Was co-author of a paper in a research group at the University of São Paulo on Contemporary Puppetry.



Viviana Rogozinski

Viviana Rogozinski, teacher and puppeteer, holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Pre-school Education and teaches in Primary and Adult Education.

She teaches Puppet workshop as an artistic-expressive language in several educational institutions of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in Pre-school and Primary Teacher training. Also holds the chair in Puppetry at the Art Vocational Institute in the Nation´s Ministry of Culture. Professor of the Seminar “Puppets and Visual Arts” at the Pre-school Level Degree, UNSAM. (National University of San Martín).
Viviana provided courses for teacher training for 12 years at the Argentine Economic Policy Center, in Buenos Aires’ Ministry of Education, where she was a specialist in “Art and playfulness in the puppet language in the Preschool”, for 4 years.
She has lectured at many events, such as the 39th Book Fair in 2013, 6th OMEP, World Organization for Early Childhood Education Congress 2013, among others.
Author of Los Títeres y sus nidos (Puppets and their nests: environments of experience) of Editorial Puerto Creativo, 2019; Títeres na Escuela (Puppets at School: Expression, communication and game), Edições Novedades Educativas, 2001. Co-author of “Requetelibros”,  Aique Larousse Edtorial for first cycle in Art and Puppets, 2001.
Viviana has also written articles on art and education for OMEP, for Noveduc, Ser y expresar (Be and express), Hacer escuela (Making school), among other editorials.
Independent puppeteer for 30 years, her focus is on the initial level, nursery yards and  ECB Primary Basic. She has been developing a project, focused on babies and young adults, for fifteen years and conducted an ontological training, the Happiness program of “The Art of Living” and the RYE Children's Yoga Bookmark Seminar, to continue building a holistic perspective at the pedagogical and artistic task.

Roberta Jorge Luz



Master and art specialist by the Art Institute of the Paulista State University "Julio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP / SP. Specialist in Art Languages by Maria Antonia University Center of USP and in Dance and Body Awareness by UGF. Degree in Arts Education - Fine Arts and Pedagogy.  Currently works as an Art Teacher Coordinator (PCNP) in the Sorocaba Teaching Board and coordinated the Puppet Theater Workshop given by Oscar Goldszmidt for Art Teachers at the same institution in 2013. Participated in the preparation and coordination of the project “Puppetry and Education” along with Oscar Goldszmidt.  Affiliated to the Federation of Art Educators of Brazil (FAEB).




Regina de Fatima Matavelli Lourenço


Portuguese and English teacher until 2019. Worked with puppets since childhood, as a descendant of a circus family (Circo Rocha). Her grandfather built and manipulated mamulengos. (puppets from Northern Brazil). Professionally has always used the puppet resource to tell stories and stimulate her students to enjoy reading. Worked for many years in reading room projects in public schools, bringing his grandfather's historic Mamulengos to the classroom and building puppets with her students, confirming with her practice that puppet theater is an important tool in education. Participated with Oscar Goldszmidt in the project “Puppet Theater and Ethics”.




Matteo Corbucci,

Rome, Italy
Pedagogue and professional educator, working for many years in early childhood education. As a teacher, he deepened his studies in puppetry and puppet theater, discovering how powerful and useful this tool is in promoting quality in education. Runs an educational center in Rome and conducts research and educational projects across the country with the use of the puppet as a typically human instrument of expression, relationship, and culture. Partner in the project “Puppetry and Education”.









Laura Barbeiro


Laura Barbeiro, 30 years old, lives in SJ do Rio Preto, SP, Brazil. Graduated in Visual Arts from Unicamp, in 2012. In her studio, named “Invisible Colorful”, she develops works focused on visual arts, set design and construction and research of animated forms.  Has stood out in her city through incentive awards for the realization of her art, such as murals and exhibitions, and has worked with theatrical groups creating and developing sets, puppets and scenic props. Still as an undergraduate, she performed several works in scenography with the Garrucha Group, from Campinas; In 2017 she held her first solo exhibition named “Milk Teeth”. Visual Narratives, through the Nelson Seixas Visual Arts billing in her city and was one of the artists awarded by the Sesi Artistic Occupation billing,  illustrating mural “Histórias do fio from the telephone ” (Stories from the telephone wire) at Sesi in the city of Sumaré, SP; In 2016, executed by the Secretariat of Culture the project “Marginal Look” performing 8 artistic murals on the marginal avenues of her city. On her undergrade course, she performed at Unicamp the artistic intervention “O Sertão Vai Virar Mar” (The bushland is going to turn into sea) in partnership with Miriam Kajiki, through the Student-Artist Grant, in 2011. With works of drawing and painting, she was part of the members of the Smith Gallery artists, in São Paulo, and participated in art halls in her city and Embu das Artes, SP. Ministered several art workshops for children and adults in various Sesc units and in the Fundacão Casa (Institutioon for young delinquents). Is currently an art educator and independent artist. She made the illustrations present in the didactic material referring to the manipulation of puppets in the project “Puppetry and Education”.





Bruna Bengozi


Bruna Bengozi is responsible for text production and academic consulting services at Monk's House Consultoria. She has always been passionate about reading and writing, as well as studying the past. These passions led her to the Bachelor Degree in History (2012) and the Master in Social History at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo - FFLCH / USP (2016). During her training, she devoted herself to the study of the medieval period and was a scholarship holder of Scientific Initiation and Master's degree from FAPESP. After graduation, she decided to teach and specialized in the area of textual production, with courses from the University of the Book and UNESP Publishing Foundation. She has also deepened her knowledge in the field of literature, acting as a mediator for the Leia Mulher (Read Women) reading club, in Sorocaba / SP, and as editor, writer and proofreader of the Book & Café website. She was the editor of the text "Puppetry and Education", by Oscar Goldszmidt.




Talita Annunciato Rodrigues


Talita Annunciato Rodrigues is an English teacher and PhD in Literature from UNESP (2015). He was a CAPES Fellow during the doctoral program, completing part of the research at Brock University (Canada), with a PDSE scholarship. She currently teaches at the Foreign Trade, Business Management and Service Management courses at the Faculty of Technology (Fatec) and also works on the following subjects: teaching literature, researching female authored literature and representing women in fiction. She has participated in journal article reviews and coordinated the SESC Sorocaba Book Club since 2016. Talita has worked as a proofreader for the English version of Oscar Goldszmidt's blog “Puppetry and Education".




Gustavo Sarti


Gustavo Sarti is a sociologist with a master's degree in Internet Governance at UNICAMP and works at SESC Sorocaba as an educator in the Technologies and Arts program. He helped publish the blog content and provided a consultancy service for the online uploading..
